CORONA VIRUS UPDATE
We just wanted to reassure all of our lovely customers that we are continuing with a “business as usual” approach, whilst taking every necessary precaution for us all to stay safe and remain healthy.  We have studied the guidance very carefully and as we work mainly in isolation and have very little contact with the public, we will be able to continue to provide you with our usual service. To fully protect you, if you prefer, you can leave your keys in a safe place, we can collect them, work on your caravan and then return the keys and your documents back to your safe place – we do not need to have a face to face discussion unless you want to, you can speak with us by telephone if you prefer.  Payment can be processed by bank transfer or by a card link facility so that you do not have to hand me your card.
Whilst working on the caravans or vehicles, we always wear gloves and have masks available. We also fully sanitise every area that we work on.  If you prefer, we can always collect the caravan/motorhome and work on it away from your premises at my workshop and return it to you once any work has been carried out.
When this difficult time is over, everyone will be trying to get away and so you can be reassured that your caravans and motorhomes have been kept in good condition and will be ready to hitch up and drive away.
With thanks to everyone for your loyal support since we started this business – each and every single one of you are valued and appreciated.
Best wishes
Lee & Dennis

    INTERNAL ENAMEL SINK REPAIRS
We carry out all kinds of repairs and we are not just limited to the exterior of the van.  Here is a sink repair that we recently carried out to a vintage canal boat where the enamel sink was no longer available. By restoring the original to its former glory, this is a much better alternative to a modern plastic replacement and more in keeping with its surrounding decor.

IMPORTANCE OF TIGHTENING WHEEL BOLTS CORRECTLY
Usually a breaker bar is used to ensure that the wheel bolts are tight but unfortnately every time bolts are tightened the pressure is increased and so eventually the correct torque is no longer acheived and the clamping pressure is reduced dramatically to the point where sometimes the bolts integrity is breached and they won’t tighten any more.  We see this happening quite frequently and it can often lead to costly replacements of drums and bolts.  A good tip is to purchase a torque wrench

    FACELIFT FOR YOUR VAN?
Fancy bespoking the front of your Motorhome? We can offer you a nice little touch to the front grille centre section, painting that can add to and match the graphics on the rest of the vehicle. All because of this one simple addition. Any requests are welcome in achieving your dream look for your precious van
